Songkran Beach Party at Phi Phi CoCobeach Resort

As per the rest of Thailand, Koh Phi Phi celebrates Songkran on the 13th of April every year. Before this you’ll notice shops all over the Island selling water guns and other songkran items. It is our favourite festival of the entire year but it is worth noticing a couple of pieces of advice to make sure you enjoy it to the full.

In the evening everybody comes back out to party. Only get those with guns wet, if you don’t want to get wet (again) your best chance is to leave your water gun at home. After an all day waterfight, most people will have had enough. Most of the locals will go home get changed and come back out without their guns. Most people on Koh Phi Phi don’t want to get wet again, it tends to only last during the day. In the evening everybody comes back out to party. Only get those with guns wet, if you don’t want to get wet (again) your best chance is to leave your water gun at home.
